"I was a frustrated Director trying to break into VP. Career Propulsion helped me skip the line, straight to an SVP role the CEO created for me."

Wharton MBA and Finance Executive
Most executives don't stall because their credentials aren't strong enough. The right opportunities aren't surfacing because one of three things is off.
Your story may be impressive, but not yet clear enough for the role level you want.
You may be aiming at roles that are too broad, too narrow, or not aligned with where your background has the most leverage.
The roles you want are often filled through relationships, timing, and internal conversations before they ever become visible.
Find Out What is Blocking you.
Then let's fix it.

What felt different about CP compared to other coaching or career programs was how high touch, well organized, and practical the experience was from start to finish. The content was consistently relevant, but what stood out most was the level of authentic engagement from my coach throughout the process. Jeremy Gartner was also available for 1:1 conversations whenever needed, which made the experience feel genuinely personalized rather than transactional.
One of the biggest shifts for me was gaining a much clearer understanding of how to position both my experience and my overall narrative for the next level in my career. I also learned to approach networking and professional conversations from the perspective of "how can I help solve your problem?" instead of "what opportunities do you have for me?" That mindset shift materially improved the quality of my conversations and how I approached relationship building more broadly.
Another moment that really clicked for me was the use of AI tools throughout the program. It expanded my thinking around how powerful these tools can be, both in driving productivity and acting as useful iterative thought partners in certain types of work.
The work also translated into tangible momentum. Within four months of starting the program, I received an offer to return to a former employer in a significantly stronger position than before.
Overall, I would strongly recommend the program to someone in a similar position. It pushes you in productive ways, and meaningful improvement rarely happens without some level of positive friction. It was a very positive experience overall, and I still stay in touch with my coach Karen to discuss career progress and ongoing decisions.
Over the past eight weeks, my experience with Career Propulsion has fundamentally changed the way I approach my executive search and professional positioning.
Rather than simply rewriting a resume from a template, the process has focused on identifying and articulating the strategic value I bring to organizations. Through an intensive workbook process and nine one-hour coaching sessions each week, I have been challenged to uncover the stories, leadership experiences, and measurable outcomes that truly support my LinkedIn profile, resume, and professional narrative.
Perhaps most importantly, Career Propulsion helped me shift my mindset from "applying for openings" to building strategic alignment with targeted business segments and organizations before positions are publicly posted. The focus is no longer a chronology of past responsibilities, but a forward-looking value proposition centered on organizational impact, leadership, culture, and measurable performance.
The result has been a far more intentional, refined, and effective professional presence, one that better reflects both my experience and the value I can bring to future opportunities. Career Propulsion's coaching approach is exceptional, focused on creating the best possible alignment between the individual and the organization. Their introduction to strategic tools, networking methodologies, and positioning techniques has been invaluable. They are truly an extraordinary resource for professionals seeking a more thoughtful and effective career journey.
I joined Career Propulsion during an important transition in my career as a senior IT leader, and overall it was a very positive experience.
One of the biggest benefits was learning how to better articulate my value and improve my professional narrative. I had done meaningful work throughout my career, but I was not always communicating that impact effectively.
The coaching, structure, and accountability helped me become more intentional about my long term career direction. I also appreciated the small-group sessions focused on the mindset side of a career transition.
During my first session, I told my coach I wanted to become one of the success stories I had seen on their website. Four months later, I started a new job.
I would recommend Career Propulsion to professionals who want more clarity, confidence, and strategy in their career growth.
Career Propulsion is an indispensable partner for mid-career professionals looking for their next role or aiming to accelerate within their current organization. While plenty of free resources exist, what makes the Career Propulsion investment worthwhile is the combination of intensive 1:1 coaching, multiple group coaching sessions on specific topics every week, a true community of peers navigating the same challenges, and a well-documented, structured go-to-market system designed to build a steady pipeline of connections and opportunities.
I was referred to Career Propulsion by a former colleague who became a client after searching on his own for over a year. At first, I was a bit skeptical - I had used career coaches in the past with mixed results - but their approach made a lot of sense to me based on many years of experience working in sales and marketing. The concepts are the same - positioning, product-market fit, demand gen, pipeline conversion, etc. - except the product you're selling is your services as an employee. While I understood these concepts and might have been able to replicate parts of the service on my own, I did the math and realized that shortening my search by even a month or two would be worth the investment. In addition, I was rusty after not actively searching for many years, and also knew the search process could be quite lonely for those going at it alone.
The service has delivered as promised. They have a great group of coaches, most of whom also have independent practices but who do 1:1 and group coaching with CP. After an intake process, you get paired up with a coach who is a good fit for your personality and needs. Online coursework, videos, and workbooks lead you through a multi-step process to help you crystallize your goals, story, resume, LinkedIn profile, target roles, etc. Your coach works with you intensively in the early part of the program and then less frequently as you shift your energy to conversations with prospective employers. The group coaching sessions, which typically have 5-10 participants, help you go deep and get practice on things like informational interviews, go to market, LinkedIn profile optimization, telling your story, negotiations, interview mastery, emotional regulation, and executive presence. The participants in the program come and go (as new participants enter and others leave after landing a role), but the program does a lot to foster a community through the group sessions and Slack channels. Many participants connect outside of the formal program and help each other out.
The program isn't perfect. They tweak parts of the process and deliverables regularly, which is good and bad - good that they are learning from the data of what's working and not with many clients, but sometimes challenging when different resources and sequencing get a bit out of sync. They are pretty good with the tech stack and bringing AI selectively in the process, but there's definitely some hopping from tool to tool that is occasionally frustrating. And the program participants have a wide range of personalities, seniority, and self-awareness, which can occasionally impact the effectiveness of the group components. Like many things in life, the clearer you are about who you are and what you want, the more you will get out of it. Make no mistake though, it's hard work, but their approach is well suited to the insanity of today's market and helps you avoid the unproductive doom loop of endlessly applying to online job postings.
Career Propulsion doesn't get a job for you - no one can legitimately promise that - but what it does do is give you a roadmap for job search success, the tools to follow that roadmap, and a strong support network to help you along the way. It's definitely an investment, but you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to accelerate their job search and build the habits and skills needed to keep a steady flow of great opportunities coming their way.
The playbook WORKED. I followed it to the letter. Everything from repositioning my brand, to the LI & resume adjustments, to how I executed my GTM strategy to how I newly positioned myself as a product that leaders needed in their business. I got so much value out of every aspect of the program. I had been looking passively for a year, and getting nowhere. I had a job offer within 4 months of starting with Career Propulsion.
I'll admit I was skeptical when Jeremy first reached out to me via LinkedIn. As a frustrated Director looking to break into the VP level, his program's promise to help underappreciated Directors advance to VP felt almost too good to be true – but the universe seemed to be talking to me.
For those willing to put in the effort, this program absolutely works. It helped me refine my value proposition and equipped me with a networking toolkit I continue to use daily. The combination of strategic guidance and practical tools made all the difference.
I had the pleasure of working with two career coaches, most recently with Peter, who was instrumental in helping me navigate interviewing, salary negotiation, and ultimately accepting an exciting offer at a startup. The 1-on-1 coaching is exceptional, but you also gain access to diverse group coaching sessions covering everything from boosting your LinkedIn presence to final-round interview preparation.
I'd highly recommend Career Propulsion to anyone feeling stuck in their current role or simply looking to strategically grow their professional network and advance their career.
Every session is private and protected. Nothing leaves the room. Your Director won't share details with anyone, internally or externally.
Most clients invest 3 to 5 hours per week. The work is concentrated where it has the highest leverage (strategy, conversations, decisions), not busy work. Most clients are currently employed during the program.
A recruiter works for companies. They place who fits the brief. We work for you. We help you build the positioning and the access strategy that creates briefs for you, not the other way around.
Fair question. Most coaching focuses on tactics: better resume, better LinkedIn, better interview answers. We start one level up. We diagnose whether your positioning, targeting, or access is the real constraint. Tactics matter, but only after the strategy is right.
Half of our clients are mid-complexity: industry switches, comp resets, board moves, returning after time off, C-suite exits, international relocations. The session is built to handle the specific complexity, not paper over it.
You are a Director, VP, or C-suite leader.
You are ready to make the right move, not just any move.
You believe your experience is stronger than your current market response.
You are open to a structured engagement if it accelerates the right move.
You are mainly looking for resume edits.
You are targeting entry-level or mid-level roles.
You want someone to apply to jobs for you.
You are not willing to actively build executive-level demand.
